Bringing Vietnamese culture to your plate... The Gap - Brisbane - Queensland

My culinary journey started in my hometown of Hoi-An, Vietnam and after arriving to Australia, I wanted to share my culture with others. The best way I could do this, was through the wonderful aromas and flavour's of my country's cuisine.

 

With this in mind, I started cooking and travelling back and forth from Vietnam to gather recipes from family and local market kitchens.

 

I found Vietnamese cuisine has been an instant success within Australia culture, as it uses seasonal ingredients, cooked fresh. The style of food found in Hoi-An is based on a fusion of flavour's and cooking styles from both French and Chinese cultures.

 

How to explain Vietnamese Cuisine? Well, it isn’t quite Chinese… not French, even though there is a baguette. The best way to know what Vietnamese food tastes like, is to try it for yourself. So please drop into and order something from the menu, I am sure you will be back for more.

 

Little Hoi-An Vietnamese Café is located in The Gap Village Shopping Centre in Brisbane Queensland. Little Hoi-An Vietnamese Café is a family operated business that prides itself on great cuisine and customer service experience since 2006.

I like to share my culture and the best way I can start, is by having others eat it. With this motivation, “Little Hoi-An Vietnamese Café" was born.
